Gaku Hashimoto (橋本 岳 Hashimoto Gaku, born February 5, 1974) is a Japanese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party, a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Sōja, Okayama he attended the Keio University as both undergraduate and graduate. He is the son of Ryutaro Hashimoto, former Prime Minister of Japan.In 2005 he was elected to House of Representatives for the first time.
